SCWBA was formed in order to accomplish the following things:
- Promote, encourage and increase the public's knowledge of the various services available to it in the residential and light commercial construction industry.
- Educate the public on home improvements and other subjects useful to the individual and beneficial to the community.
- Improve the quality and character of residential and light commercial construction in Rock & Green counties through the provision and exchange of information, the development and establishment of professional standards, and the promotion and protection of legitimate interest of the public.
- Coordinate, educate and provide activities to its members in order to satisfy all of the above purposes.
