Why are you a member of SCWBA?
Who is a member?
Everyone in your company! Membership to the South Central Wisconsin Builders Association (SCWBA) is held by the Member Company. The by-laws of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) and those of SCWBA require a primary contact person for each Member Company. However, all employees of a Member Company are welcome to participate in all activities, events, and committees of SCWBA.
Who is the primary contact?
The primary contact is normally the person who receives all mailings from SCWBA, WBA and NAHB. The primary contact also holds the exclusive right to vote and hold office in the local, state and national associations.
It is to the benefit of each Member Company to establish as the primary contact the person who is most likely to be an active and involved member of the Association.
Our primary contact left. What do we do now?
Sometimes people move on, or something changes, and they can no longer fulfill the role as primary contact. The Member Company may authorize a new primary contact at any time, but SCWBA must be notified in order to effect this change. You can also update this information on your own in MemberZone.
If you have any questions or need further clarification on details of your membership, please contact Jennifer at the SCWBA office (608) 752-8075.
